Kātao o te maunga, Hōkio ki te tai
Kātao o te maunga, Hōkio ki te tai is located within the proposed 'Riverlink' project by 'Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi Alliance'. The student project aims to provide a community facility centred around Te Awakairangi (Hutt River), responsive to the whakapapa and life-force of the awa itself. Kātao o te maunga, Hōkio ki te tai is a 300 level 'Spatial Design' project completed at Massey University, College of Creative Arts, supervised by Jen Archer-Martin (Ngāpuhi) and Georgina Stokes (Ngāi Tahu). Kātao o te maunga, Hōkio ki te tai received the 'Special Mention' award in the NUWAO Symposium design competition (2023) and received a Bronze award in the Toitanga category at the 2023 Best Awards.
